Quantic Dream: Kara- PS3 Tech Demo

This is a tech demo that was shown at GDC 2012 brought to you by the brilliant minds at Quantic Dream, the team that brought you the critically acclaimed Heavy Rain and older classics like Indigo Prophecy. The tech demo follows the manufacturing of a female android. The Androids name is Kara and we get to see the making of her and testing. The visuals are stunning its hard to believe that this is actually running real-time on the PS3. This is strictly a tech demo of the engine Quantic Dream will be using in their next game.

I truly think this is a great representation of the future of gaming. I believe the line between games and movies will be blurred, while gaming will have the one up for the simple fact that you are involved in the story. I don’t think I’m alone in saying I’m excited to see what Quantic Dream has up there sleeve.
