I thought that the Razer Ouroboros was the only thing that Razer had hiding in their labs but apparently not! Today at E3 we ran into this next level gaming mouse at the Razer booth. The device felt extremely pleasant in hand and was a joy to use. One thing is for sure, Razer may not be able to make laptops or tablets but they know how to make a great mouse.
“It was one of the best experiences I have had holding a mouse, what ever material they used for the hardware felt amazing”
- Chris Collazo [Noble Press Editor-in-Chief]
According to Razer’s official page the Taipan was developed with feedback from professional gamers. The design of the mouse is ambidexterity, similar to the Razer Ouroboros. Fitted with anti-slip and a anti-finger print matte finish Razer is finally giving up their glory days and nixing that glossy finish. The sides of the mouse come with rubberized contoured thumb grips for better control.
Talk about DPI, Razer will embarrass you. A dual 8200dpi sensor system is used for tracking outfitted with a laser and optical sensor. Nine programmable buttons mixed with Razer Synapse 2.0 should have you set to frag.
Check out the images below. This thing looks and feels great!
