Scheduled for a Q4 2012 release Razer’s new mouse the Ouroboros is now officially available for preorder over at the official site. For $129.99 you can hold infinity in the palm of your hand! Yay!
This mouse looks aesthetically outstanding and houses some respectable internals. Finally, a wireless mouse with cool enough hardware to make me drop the Death Adder I’ve been clinging to for so long. Not only will this be my first wireless mouse ever, I’m still superstitious about response times between wired and wireless, but it will definitely look the best. Too bad it’s green, I might have to buy a matching green back lit keyboard to deal with my OCD.

I’m somewhat worried about battery life. Twelve hours is more than acceptable, but replacing and buying batteries seems like an extra chore. Most likely it won’t be that bad and I’m just being a princess. I must be extremely lazy to even consider this an issue. The insane dpi seems too incredible to pass up, especially with the small amount of 8200dpi mice on the market that look impressive. So i’m probably just going to suck it up and hoard batteries.
